My Boy Can Dance 2019

It is here! A wonderful evening of celebrating the boys of Portsmouth who dance and joined in the #MYBOYCANDANCE campaign to raise awareness to the stigma that still surrounds our sons who choose to dance. 

The evening is a celebration for all your sons who choose dance and to continue to inspire them to keep doing what they love to do. We will be revealling the fantastic images taken from the shoots in September and October, giving you the chance to see them before they are launched to the public on Monday 18th November. We will have performances from boys throughout the event and speeches to really bring together our boys who dance. We will be asking your sons to take part in joining us on stage to show them just how proud we are of them to do something they love to do.

The #MYBOYCANDANCE project has been such an inspirational journey for me (Sassy) and I feel so passionately about raising the awareness of stigmas and positivity to ensure our sons cotinue to enjoy what they want to. This project is the start for MY BOY CAN and Portsmouth has been the first city to launch this incredible project. It would be wonderful if you would help me to continue in this journey and join us for this celebration and bringing together of our wonderful community of dancers.

With every ticket, a donation of £1 is required - This donation will help MY BOY CAN to fund the opportunities available to the boys of this shoot (and indeed more boys across Portsmouth) in order to continue to support boys who dance and inspire them to keep doing what they love to do.  MY BOY CAN is a not for profit organisation, run solely by volunteers and every event, workshop and opportunity that we provide is fully funded by your generous donations.
